ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)/Living Works

Skills training is one of the most effective suicide preventions. When people are thinking about suicide, they almost always express their pain in ways that invite others to reach out and help. Training empowers someone to recognize these signs and provide life-saving support.

The Living Works ASIST experience is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audio and visuals, discussions, and simulations. You will learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing warning signs, providing skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.

Living Works is the world’s leading suicide intervention training company, and its solutions are designed to empower a community-based approach to suicide prevention. Everyone can play a role in creating powerful safety networks to support those in need. By instilling life-saving skills throughout communities, we can protect people where they live, work, play and learn.
